I'm in love with my square cut turquoise ring. I purchased it in silver and requested that my ring have inclusions/markings in it to give it more depth. Marsha was kind enough to fulfill my request and sent me the exact match. It is a beautiful vibrant sky blue colour and catches the light nicely. I've purchased multiple handmade turquoise items over the years...the last 3 purchases have all been from independent etsy artists. (Prior to that, it was always via antique stores and flea markets). My sister is always commenting on my turquoise jewelry and I decided to gift her her very first piece. I went through etsy because of my positive prior purchases. After much browsing, I went with this ring by this seller because the pictures looked similar to a ring of mine she loves and this seller had such positive reviews. I received my ring today and for the first time in my etsy experiences, I am crestfallen. This ring looks so cheap...the turquoise is clearly fake as evidenced by the stone itself (the face of the stone has perfectly symmetrical cuts, similar to those one would see on large costume jewelry gems). Sorry sister!
