The oldest known Danish heart, or julehjerter, was made by beloved author Hans Christian Andersen in the year 1860. Since then this woven paper basket has traditionally been hung on the Christmas tree and filled with candy or other treats. I am honored to pass on a tradition that has always been a huge part of my Christmas season. Glaedelig Jul to you and yours!

This listing is for 4 red and white paper hearts woven with high quality paper. The hearts are 4 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide. Although julehjerter are traditionally woven in red and white as a nod to the Danish flag, I am willing to break tradition and create a custom order for you in the colors of your choice. :) Please convo me if you would like a different color.

* Made in a smoke-free studio.
* As this is a paper product, I take the utmost care in making sure it arrives in pristine condition. That being said, if you receive a damaged product please let me know and I will replace your order.
