Hand crafted from mottled crimson red, black, and white flint, with some of the rind (glossy area)left in tact. A perfect example of true craftsmanship, with fine percussion flaking, which creates a ripple effect from base to tip, on both sides. Most likely, this was originally a larger knife blade. Hafting marks on both tip, and base suggest it was lashed to a handle. Discovered in Pulaski County Arkansas, in a plowed field.
Dimensions - 2 1/2" L x 1" W.
