“Earth is my church.”
Not your average button pin! Designed by us, all of our pins are manufactured locally by a woman-owned business in a solar-powered, geothermal factory (see below). On top of that, while we all love the classic glossy buttons, these feel extra special with a super soft velvet matte finish.
We are proud to get our buttons made by a business who adds to their quality promise: “We produce all our custom buttons in the most environmentally efficient way possible. We’ve built sustainability into every part of our business…” Read more about Busy Beaver Button Co.’s green manufacturing process:
~ printed on recycled and sustainably reforested FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified papers
~ made with local recycled steel
~ made in a solar-powered century-old factory renovated with eco-friendly insulation, geothermal heating and cooling, and reclaimed building materials
~ made with materials from nearly all local suppliers
~ more than half of their employees bike to work!
♡ This falls right in line with our way of living and doing business. Your pin will be packaged in a glassine paper envelope and shipped to you in an eco-friendly recycled paper mailer.
* Important note: We've rebranded the items in this shop from our sister shop, Mud City Collective, so you may receive a pin that has Mud City branding along the rim. If you do, you simply got one of the last pins from that batch. We hope you don't mind! Soon, all our items will have Freethinker Paper Co. branding, but until then, we would hate to waste a good pin. :)
