This pattern includes 3 projects. The checkbook wallet sized zip around for your larger phones and checkbook. The tablet clutch for those of us who like to carry reading glasses and kindle around and my friends who take their iPad mini everywhere. The eyeglasses case is specifically designed to work with the tablet clutch and is a fun project all on its own. All 3 projects in one PDF pattern.

I get a lot of questions about whether a beginner can make some of the things I make. Most of the time I say yes. For this sewing pattern, I am going to say no.

You need to be comfortable behind the wheel of your sewing machine to make this project.
You need to cut accurately, mark accurately, and stitch accurately.
You need to have a walking foot and be comfortable with it.
You need to be comfortable with installing zippers.
You need to be glad to apply piping and not wish you could skip it.
You need to have a fresh sewing machine needle and not be sewing on the same dull needle you have had in there for the last 10 projects.
You have to be okay with some hand basting.

Finished size for checkbook wallet: 7.25” x 4.25” x 1”
Outer pocket options:
-Zippered outside pocket
-Velcro or snap outer pocket

Inside Pockets:
6 credit card pockets
1 zippered hinged change pocket (that is a fun thing to learn)
2 money or coupon pockets

Finished Size of Tablet Clutch: 8” x 5.5” x 1.5”
Inside has 7 credit card pockets, as well as the hinged change pocket and the slip pockets.

Tablet size does not fit the extra large HD tablets. It can fit up to an iPad mini on the inside.

Take a close look at the photos of this project. It is the most professionally made zip around wallet you will ever see.

The pattern pieces print full sized with no taping together. All pattern pieces are included and labled with sizes so you can double check your printer.

Every step is fully explained and illustrated. The instructions are probably overkill for those of you buying this pattern but I wanted to give the ambitious novice a fighting chance.
