Vintage marcasite rose brooch. Silver pin, in the shape of a long stemmed rose with a marcasite bloom. 1980s vintage jewelry for holiday wear, coats, lapel.

Marked:
The pin is marked at the pin of the silver stem on the underside. It likely is marked "925" but is is worn away, therefore I cannot be certain it is sterling.

Condition:
Excellent vintage used condition. I can discern no flaws, no marcasite chips are missing and the clasp is in good working order. The piece has a a minor amount of patina, but has intentionally been left unpolished as to leave the decision to do so up to the buyer. I will gladly polish this piece, at not extra cost, upon request at purchase. (There may be minor scratching that cannot be seen due to the current patina.)
