This folk art Mizrach (literally a sign saying "east", showing which direction to pray) was donated to our annual synagogue dinner raffle to commemorate our daughter and son-in-law being honored. The Hebrew, from Psalm 114, translates as "from the rising of the sun to its going down, we will praise the name of the Lord".

Gouache and silver gilt on acid-free Strathmore 400 Bristol vellum. Size 14x18 inches
