Why don't you accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations?

Great question! Due to the nature of digital download products, I can NOT accept refunds, exchanges, cancellations, or returns. Digital files are available as soon as your payment is processed. If you have any questions or concerns please check the other frequently asked questions, and then contact me for assistance. I appreciate all my customers and I'd be more than happy to help!

What is Pattern Keeper?

Pattern Keeper is a program that allows you to track, store, search, and manage your cross stitch files. We are not affiliated with Pattern Keeper, but as cross stitchers we do use and LOVE it! That's why we create an additional file to the traditional print file that is specifically created for use with Pattern Keeper. You can try the app/program for free and if you like it, can purchase a lifetime access. As of 2023 the cost was $9 USD. To find out more check out their website. https://patternkeeper.app/

Because we create all of our cross stitch patterns we can adjust the size of the print sheets. For example, we export most of our patterns at or around 40 symbols across the page (8.5x11in). This is pretty standard for patterns. However, if you have a visual impairment, or just like your patterns to be larger or smaller in print please reach out to us. We would love to help meet your needs!

Do we have to use the same strand amounts as in the pattern?

Nope! You can follow our patterns exactly or adjust to fit your wants/needs. We choose to use 3 strands instead of 2 because we prefer a more filled out look. Others prefer a more thin stitch-y look and that's just fine. It's all about personal preference. Just note that adjusting the amount of strands will adjust the estimated amount of floss you will need, so please keep that in mind.

Are your patterns designed for Danish or English stitching?

You can use Danish or English cross stitching techniques! If you are unsure what the difference is: Danish - Doing areas or sections with a 1/2 cross stitch and then working backwards to finish the remaining 1/2 stitch. English - Completely finishing one cross stitch at a time.

I'm a total newbie, how do I get started?

First of all, welcome! So glad you are here. :) I'd recommend starting with a very simple, easy, quick finish project. All about those small victories! If you find video instructions are helpful I'd recommend @FatQuarterShopFlossTube on Youtube. She does an amazing job teaching! This is her Cross Stitch University Playlist. A perfect place to start! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DieSiqSXtk&list=PLPwfsUojVe-fw2nPaBoTp-8XsycRykh7A Even folks who have been cross stitching for a long time have lots to learn, so don't stress about feeling like you have to know everything before you start. You've got this!
