Our egg crate trays are handmade using raw materials such as cement concrete, colorants, and molds.

This egg storage holder can fit half a dozen eggs (6 eggs) per tray. Measures approximately - 5.5 in x 3.75 in x 1.5 in. These low profile trays are sturdy and work equally great for the fridge or counter. Use to store eggs in the fridge, while cooking, or on your counter to show off your farm fresh collected eggs. These are stylish, modern industrial, and rustic farmhouse - all wrapped into one.

This item will be sealed, unless you request otherwise, to repel stains and liquids. We use a food-grade, non-toxic, wax blend that includes beeswax and carnauba, with antimicrobial lemon and orange extracts. Please note that sealing can cause the color of the concrete to be slightly darker than when it remains unsealed. The wax sealant also gives a beautiful polished shine to the items. This safe wax sealant can last for a very long time, but if the item is heavily exposed to liquids, it may need to be resealed again in the future. Wipe spills, and if needed hand clean with mild soap and water, and dry thoroughly. Not recommended for dishwasher. Do not allow to soak for long periods in water or other liquids.

Concrete is strong and durable, it can and will last for an extended time with normal use and care, but it is not indestructible - if dropped it can break.

We take great care and pride in creating each item, but it is important to understand concrete is a natural rustic material. There can be variances in smoothness and texture, small bubbles or voids that occur as the concrete cures, and color variations as pigment colors and concrete materials meld throughout. Please know that this is part of what makes each piece truly unique during the handmade process.

Color styles shown are representative of the final end colors. The raw materials in concrete can vary per batch, sometimes being a lighter or darker base material due to the makeup of the particular batch. Colors shades can be affected by this and may be somewhat lighter or darker than those shown in the photos. We do use a very calculated process to measure our pigments and try to achieve the most similar color to those shown as possible. As stated above final concrete color can also be affected by sealants.

Additionally, colors on monitors can appear different than real life due to many factors such as indoor / outdoor lighting conditions, monitor calibration, screen brightness and other factors. We try to present our items with the truest lighting conditions possible but please keep these factors in mind when ordering.
