The original table can often be intimidating to newcomers to grasp the reason behind the tables layout, relationships between element properties, and trends that occur. By using infographics a more digestible periodic table allows for easier explanation/realization of relationships between element attributes, and the table itself. In example, the orbital configuration of Sodium (Na) that some tables state is 3s1. This infographic uses arcs to show that the S subshell holds a max of 2 electrons, and is only half filled for Na. Its ability to give up 1 electron in the S shell is also related to its ability to give one electron away to form positive cation/oxidation state.

Some additional trends that can be observed on this poster are as follows.
1. Positive cations/oxidation states can be seen on the right hand side of each element.
2. Negative anions/oxidation states can be seen on the left hand side of each element.
3. The trend that a column (group) shares similar oxidation states/ions, orbital configurations is also visible.
4. Atomic radii increasing down, and to the left is also shown.
5. Electron Affinity, Atomic weight,Electronegativity,Ionization Energy increase left to right, bottom to top.
6. Ionization energies are directly related to the orbital configurations.
7. Comparing electronegativities can be used to predict the type of bond two elements will form.
8. How Solid, Liquid, Gas states across groups change.
9. The larger the atomic radii the farther electrons are from the center, and the easier they are to remove resulting in a lower initial ionization energy.
10. Half-lifes become faster as you move down and to the right of the table.

This is a lot of information that has been reduced down into a format that would help a lot of students gain a better appreciation for the relationship between element attributes.

1. orbital configurations,
2. oxidation states (common vs uncommon),
3. atomic radii,
4. ionic radii,
5. solid, liquid, gas temperature states
6. electron affinity,
7. electronegativity,
8. ionization energy
9. half life
10. atomic weight

I love that this periodic table shows the most common periodic trends and some of the most used scientific constants. This is the periodic table I wish I had when I started my degree! This is going to look great above my desk and will make a killer present for my chemistry major friends! Thanks for such a great product!

This poster is so informative and aesthetically pleasing. It may not be the best for a classroom type setting as it is difficult to read from a distance but it's perfect for right over my desk. It has so much information 😍 as a pre vet student I'm sure this poster will be a staple in my decor for some time.
