Felting board: birds

How do I use my felting board for flat felting?
- equip yourself with a felting base: a piece of felt, wool felt or sturdy cotton
- place your coupon on the felting mat and place your board on top with the desired pattern centered where you want to felt it
- take carded wool and insert the fibers into the pattern
- hold the felting needle vertically and firstly felt the edges to clearly outline the silhouette. Add carded wool as much as necessary to complete the shape and felt until you have a homogeneous surface.
- remove the board and rework the entire contour to refine the details, hollows and curves
- add embroidered or felted details if necessary
Possibility of combining it with other felting boards: animals, flowers or mini patterns for brooches!
