I really enjoyed designing these romantic papers and began with my own hand-created watercolour design. The French certainly have a way of making everything so romantic and exotic. I always begin with the colour palette, and since I had just designed journal papers with a vibrant and bright palette of the same hues, I decided that for this design for papers, a more muted palette would be better, and I love it! I deliberately wanted the papers to be rich in several colour ranges. As you can see, I included the actual colour palette that I used to design from so you can use it when adding text or captions to the photos in your scrapbooks.

These scrapbook papers are a collection of 12 hand-designed and rendered 12" x 12" coordinated scrapbook papers, downloadable in 5 separate .zip files, and made for printing at 300 ppi, so you can use them over and over again.

--I've studied graphic design and colour theory and have been doing ORIGINAL graphics (no recapitulated clip-art for me!) for many years--even the gold balls, jewels and pearls are completely original on some of your papers! So you can be guaranteed to have a one-of-a-kind creation. They were designed at 300 ppi (pixels per inch), and your printer actually uses dpi (dots per inch).
