The journey of creating a piece, from ideation to completion, is a transformative experience for Jessica, as she uses her skills, intuition, and technology to craft a story that is both personal and universal. Jessica's work as an artist is a spiritual journey, a journey of discovery, expression, and collaboration, combining traditional and digital techniques to convey a story that is both thought-provoking and aesthetically pleasing. She is passionate about exploring the boundless possibilities of art in the digital age and expressing her creative vision through the interplay of technology and tradition.

As an artist, I am constantly exploring the intersection of technology and spirituality in my work. I believe that the creative process is a spiritual journey, one that connects me to my inner self and the world around me. I have always been enchanted and excited about new technology. I have been a digital mixed media artist for over 25 years, and a traditional artist even longer.

In these new pieces I have put my artistic stamp on from beginning to end, through art direction and then digital painting and collage, based in the exploration of AI and the boundless possibilities it brings to the table when it comes to the realm of storytelling and exploration of a collection of cohesive finished pieces through co-creation. I truly believe there are endless ways to create, and through the application of AI paired with my own digital painting and collage work, I am able to tap into a boundless realm of possibilities and start to tell a bigger story. Lastly these pieces come full circle when we then add in the beautiful narrative of the author. These pieces are a result of the joyous and rewarding process of creation, where I embrace the unknown and allow myself to be guided by intuition and imagination. I continue to be inspired by the limitless creative possibilities that arise from the collaboration between man and technology. I believe it allows for a level of unpredictability and spontaneity. I also liken Mixed Media to a symphony, there are many instruments, and alone no two sound the same….but combined you have something else entirely, and hopefully if done with passion, something lovely. I would hope that we all embrace the joy in the journey as we collectively embrace things previously unknown. I find joy in the process of creating and exploring new techniques, whether I'm using a paintbrush, a camera, or an AI algorithm. The journey of making my work is just as important to me as the final product, and it is through this process that I aim to convey a narrative that is both personal and universal.
