Based on her breathtaking golden faces chandelier made for the Tel Aviv 2020 Biennale, Dana Bloom is now offering a limited edition of framed figures. Just like the human face, each art piece is unique & one of a kind. Each work is made to order and numbered In an installation made up of dozens of repurposed chocolate wrapping, Dana Bloom imprinted the faces and limbs of her daughter's dolls into the gilded foil. Each wrapping is an individual, one-off object, whereas the entire cluster appears as a kind of handmade production line, in contrast to the mass production line on which the dolls were manufactured. The work provides an encounter not only between manual processes and industrial production, but also between personal narratives - the world of childhood innocence (doll imagery) - and a remote memory of ancient customs (funerary masks made of beaten gold).

Dana combines passion with technology, art and design, creating unique pieces. She draws inspiration from nature, artifacts, soft curved lines, as well as biomorphic shapes. Her works are characterized by airy sculptured objects that derives their origin from an interest in space perception and three dimensions.

Bloom takes her long time experiences as a senior fine jewelry designer and turns them into art using her artistic inclination and knowledge in both advanced manufacturing techniques, knowledge of processing fine metals such as gold, silver and brass as well as advanced computer design skills.

Each work in the collection is one of a kind. Each face that Dana Bloom sculptures is unique in the same way that the human face is unique.
