The board was prepared according to ancient technologies. The specially assembled dry board has additional wooden inserts that prevent its deformation over time. A special fabric is pasted on the board and many layers of primer are applied after that. The board is also treated with a solution against insects and covered with a protective layer of wax. The front side of the picture is covered with varnish that protects against moisture and UV rays. But, we do not recommend placing the icon in a damp room or under direct sunlight. We recommend ordering a special frame with glass for long-term storage of the icon. It's also better for the icon to hang on the wall using hooks on the frame, without having hooks on the board itself. You can order a frame yourself or with our help.

We also attach a certificate of authenticity with the author's signature to the painting.
