Oh, I adore this. I’m a fiend for gothic/literary inspired perfumes and I think this house may be my new obsession. This perfume opens on my skin with a surprising green note, likely from the moss accord. It then seems to gradually dry out, as if I’ve moved from an outdoor garden into a warm albeit closed off house. The florals come through next, fragrant but decidedly dry, like bundles left on the walls. There’s a clean linen scent, soapy but not sterile. It’s astonishing how story-like this fragrance opens up on the skin, and knowing the story behind it, I’m so pleased. I’ve already saved half a dozen more scents to try soon. Thank you!
