My latest art inspired felted soaps have sold out quickly. I will put up new photos as I create new ones. The regular felted soaps are still available in varied colors.
This handmade, hand-cut goat milk soap is hand-felted with merino wool roving, a very soft fine wool that has been carded, but not yet spun into yarn. The soap is wrapped in fine wisps of wool, then dipped into boiling water with continuous rubbing to shrink the wool to a tight cloth around the soap. Merino wool is anti-microbial and hypoallergenic. It has uniquely thin fiber and does not retain odors. Excellent for gardener's hands, arthritic or children's tiny hands, the fiber makes it easier to hold onto your bar of soap. This will outlast regular bars, just make sure to set it where it can dry completely after each use. After the soap is exhausted, the final piece of wool can be filled with herbs and kept in a linen drawer or used as a scrub cloth. I will be posting more fragrances as I finish them.
Just finished felting the snowmen and are ready to ship next day.
