This is a **one-of-a-kind, hand-rendered, hand-painted, original watercolor painting** of an old stone building. The painting is based on the architecture in and around Greater Philadelphia and was originally a part of my "Houses of Lansdowne" series. This is NOT a print, it was NOT created digitally, it is NOT AI-generated! It was 100% hand-drawn and hand-painted by me!

Give yourself or your loved one the gift of something truly original, unique, special and handmade. Created and signed by Philadelphia artist Erica Harney (me!), this is an original watercolor painting that measures 8x10" before framing and matting (Painting measures approximately 13x17" if purchased with a frame/mat). Due to storage limitations I carry a very small selection of frames: basic black or white frames with white mat. For the safety, ease, and affordability of shipping, the frames I use are plexiglass, not actual glass. For the long-term legacy of your painting, professional framing with archival mats and UV-protectant glass (or similar) is always encouraged. I am happy to provide recommendations for custom framers upon request.
*I am a full-time, working artist* in Philadelphia, PA, where I have been based since 2011. A NY native, I have a Bachelors of Fine Art in Drawing & Painting from Alfred University (2006) and a Masters of Fine Art in Drawing & Painting from the Pennsylvania State University (2010). I began using watercolor in 2005 while studying abroad at the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy. I am also proficient in oil and acrylic/latex, am an avid sketchbook user, and sometimes create collages from found objects. In addition to my Studio practice, I also gig as a scenic artist (painting scenery and backdrops for opera, theatre, tv, museums etc) and muralist in and around Philadelphia. Until the Pandemic I also taught as an adjunct instructor at several colleges and universities in the Mid-Atlantic region.
