Cottage Core Milkmaid Style Spaghetti Strap Boho Top 70s Hippie Thrift Flipped From Feedsack Fabric Romantic Getaway Free People Inspired

Truly one of a kind thrift flipped boho “Free People Inspired” 1970s style spaghetti strap top that has that milkmaid style to it. It’s ready for summer island getaway, rodeo, vacation beach fun, or a romantic night out. Handmade and loved by me for you.

This top is constructed using a 1978 sewing pattern cut from an old vintage flour sack into glam. The feed sack is lavender floral with a solid lavender band around the front border of the top. The elastic sits above the bust line and the hand-dyed vintage silk ribbon drawn through the casing ties and cinches right below the bust for a milkmaid style top. You can make it as tight or loose as you like. The flour sack appeared to have no visible stains or damage and sewed together very nicely, but remember all vintage items could have aging or time imperfections. All seams are finished inside the top using a serger. I made this on my 1987 Bernina sewing machine and used my 1985 White serger to finish all the seams. This top fits me perfectly and I’m a size small in most major clothing department stores. This could accommodate a 32 DDD sized cup.

Upper bust around NOT stretched: 32” (using a 1” wide elastic)
Back length: 13 1/2”
Front length: 15”
Elastic above the bust STRETCHED measures 44” around
Spaghetti Strap length: 13 3/4”
