This is a digital file. No physical product will be sold and mailed to you. This has been tested on a Glowforge pro and a Mira 9 in lightburn as well as in the glowforge interface. The file takes just over one sheet of 11x19” material depending on how you position the pieces.

I recommend cutting this file with MDF. Low end birch has glue voids and tends not to cut all the way through. It also never truly measures 1/8” or 1/4” all the way through. It also chars very easily.

Please be sure you measure your material to know which size stand to use. I have provided 15 different size stands measuring .11” to .26” I recommend owning digital calipers to measure your materials when owning a laser. Measure before you cut the stand so you know which one to choose. The kerf has already been done for you so no need to worry about knowing kerf for this file.

This file has been cut and tested on a GLOWFORGE Pro and Mira 9 unit. Can be used on alternate types of lasers. You may use this file for small business or craft projects. The witch stands around 12” tall or so, and fits on a Glowforge Basic. You can cut as many or as little as you like. You will need to turn the witch horizontally to fit her on your sheet. I placed these in a way that managed to fit this on a single sheet with just the heads on a separate sheet.

The stands are in a separate file. Be sure to download both files. There is a photo of how the back of the kickstand looks assembled should you need it as a guide. This is included in your downloads.

You will need to glue the stand on the back side. There are 15 versions included. The supports on the back are measured for 1/8”, and 1/4” materials. MDF tends to run slightly thinner than wood so be sure you always measure your materials. I cut the bases (rectangular part) twice and layered them up for additional support. I glued the pieces together for permanent support.

With so many new lasers on the market, I cannot provide settings as I do not want to provide incorrect settings that can damage your machine or product. Every laser runs at different speeds and also operate differently for each material. I cannot trouble shoot hardware, as I do not want to be responsible for damaging your machine by giving you the wrong advice. I can tell you I normally use 1/8” MDF on my projects on medium draft board setting on my Glowforge and 20 speed, full power on my Mira 9 if that helps :)

I used chalk paint on the one in the photo and I choose to paint after cutting, You may choose to paint first and mask. You can also use natural wood. I have a video tutorial on how to assemble similar witch files should you need help. It is posted in my Facebook group and my YouTube channel. It is a video from start to finish on how I painted and assembled this.
