Copper and Quartz Sorceress Wands, Hand Forged in Yorkshire

Hand forged copper and quartz wand, made in a riverside forge in the Yorkshire Pennines on a two-century-old anvil. A sorceress wand in pure copper, tipped with clear quartz crystal.

THE WAND
Clear quartz has been called the master crystal: a stone of clarity and amplification, said to magnify whatever intention you bring to it. Copper, the metal of Venus, is one of the best conductors known, so it carries energy from your palm to the crystal point without resistance. This is a bright, open, uncomplicated wand: good for cleansing a space, charging other stones, casting circles and everyday devotional work.

DETAILS
• Pure elemental copper, hand forged and polished
• Natural quartz crystal tip
• 8" (20cm) long as pictured
• Any size, or your choice of crystal, made to order
• Lifetime guarantee

Each piece is forged by hand and each crystal is natural, so no two are ever identical.

CARE
Copper develops a dark patina over time. Keep it as a mark of use, or polish it with lemon and salt or a copper cleaner.

WITH ITS OWN FORGE SCALE
Every wand is forged to order, and comes with a small pouch of forge scale from its own forging: the flakes of iron or copper that fall away as your wand is heated and hammered into shape. It is the wand's own skin, shed in the fire as it became itself. I include a printed card with the Forge Scale Hallowing, my grounding and blessing rite, so you can consecrate the wand with its scale, bind it to you and make it your own. At its heart you hold the scale beneath the wand and speak the binding words: "I offer you the skin you shed to become your true self, so that you may see my true soul, and we are bonded eternally." Keep the scale to ground your wand again whenever it needs it. Iron scale can be laid across your threshold in the old way of guarding a home; copper scale can be kept by the door or hearth to draw warmth and luck in. PERSONALISE IT
Make your wand truly yours. Choose an option above:
• Letter and number stamping (+£10): initials, a name or a date
• Runic carving (+£30): your name, a bind rune or a word of intent, hand-cut in Elder Futhark runes
• Chemical etching (+£50): finer lettering, a sigil or a short line etched into the metal
After ordering, message me with the letters, runes or wording you would like and I will send you the layout to approve before I make a mark.
