As our pieces are not solid gold, they are plated with a thick layer of Gold/Rose Gold/Rhodium, and can tarnish depending on customer care, environmental conditions/lifestyle, and your skin's natural acidity levels. STERLING SILVER Sterling Silver pieces are plated with a layer of Rhodium for shine and protection. Sterling Silver can oxidize with contact to air, so it is best to store it in an air-tight baggie when not being worn.
