Pretty little red and gold antique (1906) poetry book "A Whimsey Anthology" by Carolyn Wells; imperfect copy w/detached covers, reading copy

What a well-loved old book of humorous, unusual, and whimsical poems! This is a September 1906 1st edition printing of "A Whimsey Anthology" collected by Carolyn Wells, in red leatherette-covered boards (both detached) and stamped with a very elaborate gilt pattern on the front cover and spine. Although it looks a bit worse for wear, I've priced this item extremely low, in the hopes that it finds a loving new home. Keep it on a nightstand, and pick it up every now and again, when you're in the mood for some whimsy!
