This is an antique garden bow saw, circa 1940s. It has chipped red enamel paint and a rusty blade. The hardware on it is steel and weathered with a nice antique patina. This is a great display item - but still usable too.

Bow saws were used primary on farms and in gardens - pruning trees and bushes. This is a one-man, two-handed version.

The saw measures 22 1/2 inches long and is 10 inches at the widest part. The blade is 20 inches long and still sharp.
