Handmade Comb with extra long teeth that are perfect for combing or detangling long hair. Triple laminated for strength, vacuum infused with food-grade mineral oil, and finished with a natural wax composed of local Ohio beeswax that has been double filtered and combined with food-grade mineral oil (George’s Club House Wax). Since this is a wood product and finished with oil/wax, I recommend maintaining it with wax and avoiding combing wet hair.
They are offered in a variety of wood species, and representatives are shown in the photos.
Most of the woods used are remnants from musical instruments and were originally chosen for their tonal characteristics and structural stability. I don't believe in wasting materials and feel a true responsibility to use as much of the stock as I can. It's an honor to create with wood.

The long teeth are 0.125” wide and 1.75” - 2” long and sanded smooth for comfort.

**To reduce our environmental impact and increase the responsibility of this shop, I am now shipping 100% recycled padded mailers. The padding is created from macerated newsprint (post-consumer) and is curbside recyclable as well as compostable (if packing tape is removed)
***I am still shipping with packing slips on recycled paper but have reduced the size by 50%. Lastly, the felt pouches products that combs are shipped in are made of 100% post-consumer recycled polyester bottles (Eco-Fi Craft Felt).
****Free shipping is sent via USPS Ground Advantage. USPS lists a 2-5 business day timeframe once shipped.
