Description of dress in original listing:
To make this stunning futuristic dress I layered shiny black synthetic lace over a richly textured dark gold metallic brocade. The bodice has a fitted boned foundation underneath to keep the line of the dress smooth and sleek. The daring low cut neckline is detailed with a shaped collar band and narrow side straps. Under the lace around the hem and throughout the bodice I've appliqued red and gold metallic mesh and 'liquid' metal accents which glint, gleam and spark through the lace layer as though you are on fire from within! For even more drama the trained hemline is edged with shards of iridescent sheer red and orange mirror organza to resemble 'fire' CGI special effects. This is my unique artistic interpretation to mimic flames by using fabrics. The matching accessory flame collar hooks invisibly to the shoulders and is removable. Dress includes a built-in tulle flounced petticoat, extensive hand-sewn finish work, and closes center back with an invisible zipper. Unlike a costume which you may wear only once, this gown is constructed with fine dressmaking techniques and attention to detail. I've included a bridal style French bustle to the train (4th photo shows bustled back hem) The train may be optionally tied up out of the way by easily tying the ribbons together underneath.
*The fire effect trim on hem is sewn on by hand and can be removed by buyer if desired. Dress hem is finished underneath the trim.
This dress can also be made short in the front.
