Handpicked from the cotton fields of Egypt, Egyptian cotton stands apart as it's harvested manually, preserving the fibers' straightness and integrity. Hard to come by and of the finest quality, Egyptian cotton is a variety of Sea Island cotton complete with strong, silky fibers. Egyptian cotton is the finest, longest-staple of all compared to other quality cottons such as pima or supima cotton. Egyptian cotton produces an extremely soft and supple weave paired with a light sheen to draw the eye. This cotton woven is not only suitable for sheets, but high-end shirting applications for the fashion sportswear market as well.

I was worried about the color but it turned out to be exactly what I needed for my project. The fabric itself is very nice, it does wrinkle a bit easily but you can iron it out.
