The plants you'll receive are in plug form. Plug-size seedlings are tiny little plants. Their size varies from one variety to another ( refer to photo #6). They are healthy & well-rooted starter plants that come ready to transplant into your final container or in 3-4 inch pots to establish more for landscape use. Please feel free to ask questions or do your own research based on your location before placing your order.

Normally, there are 1 - 3 seedlings in each plug, you can cut off the weaker one(s) upon arrival and only leave the healthy ones to be transplanted. Don't try to separate them since eucalyptus do not like to have their roots disturbed, as I mentioned in the care instruction paper.

Incredibly popular among florists, Eucalyptus pulverulenta 'Baby Blue' (Florist Silver Dollar) is a small evergreen tree or sprawling shrub with an open, spreading habit, featuring stunning blue-gray rounded leaves. Keep in mind that Eucalyptus is generally wild-harvested, so plants can vary quite a bit. Expect some variation as your plants grow.

Eucalyptus may be grown as a perennial or annual depending on your location. It performs best in full sun in average to moderately fertile, slightly acidic soil that does not dry out. Protect from cold, drying winds.

A strong, healthy root system is the most important feature of a plant. Damaged foliage may occur during shipping. If this happens, simply cut those pieces off and discard them. Oftentimes, leaves will experience some yellowing in transit due to the lack of light in the box. However, the new growth will become the normal shade of green once the plant recovers from shipping.

🥶🥶It is highly recommended to purchase a heat pack during the winter months, especially if you live in an area where temperatures fall below 35 degrees. You can include a heat pack with your order to ensure that your products arrive in good condition. One heat pack is sufficient for up to 24 plug-size plants or 8 plants in 3-4" pots. We encourage you to browse our shop and consider ordering multiple items to maximize your shipping costs, as it can be quite expensive to order only one or two plants. Ordering as many items as possible in a single shipment will help spread the shipping and heat pack costs over more products, making it more cost-effective.
Most of our orders are shipped through USPS, so we recommend signing up for text notification updates via USPS. This way, your package won't sit outside for long periods upon arrival.
