This listing is for one handmade leather pocket flask. Capacity is approximately 12oz.

These vessels are individually hand made from fine, heavy saddle skirting. Each vessel is hardened using an ancient process known as Cuir Bouilli and finished to the highest standard. The result is a very rigid, durable, and beautiful drinking vessel suitable for anything from daily use to SCA and renaissance reenactment.

My vesssels are waterproofed on the outside with beeswax and inside with a food-safe resin. They can be used with *WARM* or cold beverages, including fruit juices and spirits (that normally dissolve natural finishes). However I can also line vessels with beeswax or brewer's pitch upon request if you prefer a natural finish.

While this specific desgin is unique, vessels of this type were common in medieval England. The simple, compact design makes them just as practical today.

A unique leather drinking vessel makes a wonderful conversation starter, or gift.

This vessel is available in five colors, Brown, Red, Black, Green and Natural (undyed, golden brown). However only Brown and Natural are normally in stock. Other colors take 2-4 weeks. Please note that because every piece of leather is unique, the color of the vessel you receive may vary from the photo. Please specifiy the desired color when ordering. If not in stock, I will advise via email and offer available options.

I accept cheque, money order, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and AmEx. Cheque orders will be held until they clear.

Many other vessels are available. Please feel free to contact me with your inquiries. Custom orders are always invited. If you can envision it, I can probably make it.
