The kit also seals up the air extraction path, so that the smoke and yuck continues outside of your machine instead of getting to the electronics and gunking them up. Over all, the delete kit will likely double double with airflow once the OEM fan and cover are replaced.
The xTool F1 Ultra Fan Delete Kit adapter is made of polycarbonate, giving it stability under much higher temperature and direct sunlight. Where PLA and PETG printed solutions will get soft and melt, polycarbonate does not. It's sized to match the OEM air tube, with a nice and snug fit to prevent it from wiggling loose on its own.
