If you have laid your eyes on a book with more colorful illustrations that evoke the 40s era of , then you might be standing alone! This is truly a rare find. Other venues have priced this large "12 X 10", 73 paged book at over $50, so here you see quite the value. The book contains a collection of twenty stories from: Wynken Blynken and Nod, We Won't Tell, Animal Crackers, The Easter Rabbit, A Nonsense Alphabet, The Tug That Lost Her Temper, Grandfather's Penny, Funny Jack, and more. Authors of the stories include Eugene Field, Mary Tufts, Carolyn Bailey, Edward Lear, A.A. Milne. But you will want this book becuase of the spectacular illustrations that are perfectly period from the 1940s first printing. They are crisply reproduced, and jaw-droppingly colorful!
The book shows some wear on the corners, the spine has a rip , the edges of the cover are scuffed, and the inside cover has some writing, but once you get past the title page, your world will be transformed.
As always, I will only charge you the actual price of media mail shipping plus tracking, so if you combine purchases or I have over quoted, I will refund you the difference back to your Paypal or RME account.
