Emory is a breezy sundress featuring an empire waist bodice, gathered cap sleeves, a folded hem along the bottom and the cutest pockets you've ever seen! There are so many options to customize your Emory dress, the bodice is perfect for embroidery, lace, or even buttons. The back of the dress is secured with two button loop closures, no buttonholes or zippers! Emory is perfect for featuring large prints, we recommend you use cotton wovens, quilters cotton is perfect.
Sizes 2-14 for girls are included in the file.

The PDF pattern features computer drawn pattern pieces, and cutting instructions for elements that are rectangles. The Emory pattern features full-color photographs and easy to follow instructions. Pattern pieces will need to be printed on Letter or A4 paper, set to "no scaling".

Emory is rated as an advanced beginner/intermediate pattern. You will need to be comfortable with gathering, and topstitching. There are no buttonholes or zippers. Serger is not required, but if using wovens seams will need to be finished.

Supplies needed: two buttons that are least 1" wide. Fabric, thread and basic sewing supplies. Rotary mat, cutter and ruler. Pinking shears are not required but helpful.
