This is a beautiful antique chromolithograph from 1908. It depicts two illustrations of the Bennett Apple, one full and the other cut in half. The Bennett Apple originated as a seedling in an old fence row on the premises of Mr. S. L. Bennett in Medford Oregon in 1883. Mr. Bennett cut scions from the seedling about 1893, which he top grafted into bearing trees. His fruit was exhibited at the Charleston Exposition in 1902 where it was awarded a gold medal.

This would look great displayed in your kitchen!

Verso is blank.

The approximate page size is 5 5/8 X 8 7/8 inches. The paper is a medium thick stock with a nice patina. This is in great shape for a print that is over 100 years old and will be a wonderful addition to your collection.

Not a reproduction.

Be sure to view many other food prints in the Delectable & Fine Dining section.

Prints are NEVER rolled up, they remain flat in a plastic archival sleeve with a heavy backer and put into the appropriate sized document envelope for safe shipping.
