Highlights
Here is a wonderful hand thrown stoneware creamer by Colin Kellam. Colin is known for his beautiful brushwork decoration. This jug exhibits his talent for lovely floral decoration. This colorful decoration involves several glazes, iron and cobalt. Colin was once apprentice to the famed Marianne de Trey.
This cute creamer measures 3-5/8" tall with an opening of 2-3/4". Holds 9-10oz
Very well crafted and has Colin's personal seal.
The little jug is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks.

Colin Kellam set up his pottery at The Lion Brewery in Totnes, Devon in 1969. He had previously worked with Marianne de Trey at Shinner's Bridge, Dartington after training a Loughborough College.
He produces domestic wares, lamp bases, large platters, garden pots and one-off sculptural pieces in stoneware with an ash glaze fired at 1300°C.
