Description

Newer is better except when it’s not! When it comes to Antique carpentry woodworking tools, the exception and the rule seem nearly as common as one another.

This collection of six (6) antique/vintage tools are a super find for the wood worker, Carpenter, manly man in need of adorning the walls of his manly man cave…man!

All the tools are in great vintage condition; fully functional; oozing with time worn history and ready for service as display or woodworking!

~HENRY DISSTON SAW: gorgeous ornate carved wooden handle that is attached with brass bolts, one is the iconic emblem and name logo (H. Disston & sons Philadelphia) Measurements; 26” x 5” and sharp sharp, sharp. All the teeth present and accounted for. The blade has the typical “time grime” patina. I believe this has been referred to as the “Victory” saw.

~TIN SNIPS: they’re Tin Snips! Designed to snip; tin! Nothing fancy but cool, old, functional and has remnants of red paint for a small pop of color. Measures; 9” x 2”

~HAND BRACE DRILL: Some people still prefer using these over power drills!! I’m kidding, probably not. This tool has a functional ratchet bit housing, and the top brace and crank handle is made from time worn wood, great condition and sporting old wood driller’s hand patina. Measurements; 13 ½” x 6 ½”

~STANLY #61 BOXWOOD 2ft-4ft, FOUR SQUARE-JOINT 1940’s RULER: Great working shape and fully functional with properly working brass joints. A hardworking history patina is present for an added accent and display charm. Dates between 1855 – 1957. This one probably dates pre 1949.

~STANLY ZIG ZAG FOLDING 72 INCH RULER: Fully functional and embellished with properly working stainless and brass joints and stops. Pose this cool accent in many different configurations for a cool display, or use to measure…stuff!

~VINTAGE, 1950s FAVORITE WYTEFACE, LEATHER AND METAL 100ft TAPE MEASURE: Made by Keuffel & Esser Co. This vintage workhorse is ready to measure all you have, up to 100ft! The outside case is covered in an old Time Grimed leather case with a center metal crank back handle; emblazed with the initials K&E. The metal tape measure is readable but the number (3) has been worn away. The metal tape has lots of vintage patina.

This is such a wonderful purse! I get compliments every time I carry it and it unexpectedly matches a pair of shoes I have as well. Better than described, but then again descriptions don't do this purse justice!
