Description

Wouldn't it be great to be able to make your own corn dolly goddess & Horned god figures for Sabbat Altars & Pagan / Wiccan rituals, Sabbat / Birthday gifts or as unique Handfasting gifts?

You could make all your favourite deities: Brighid, Hecate, Luna, Morrigan, Lugh, Cernunnos, The Green man, - in fact any god or goddess you choose. These designs can be made using Jute or wool and easily adapted to faeries by adding wings.

Just think, you could make them as Sabbat gifts for friends and loved ones, or as Home Blessing gifts. Something unique and special ..hand made with love by you ...

Calling upon the God or Goddess as you make the figure would be a wonderful way to enhance your connection, as you weave your intentions into every step of your creation.

So how do you do this?

I have been making these corn dolly goddeses and jute figures and faeries for many years now so I decided to share my design and technique by creating a simple, step by step , full colour photo downloadable PDF e-booklet., which you can use straight from your computer, or print it out.

his is how it works:

After your payment has been received, Etsy will send you an automatic email notification letting you know the file is ready for you to download to your computer, on the download page. Then it is simply a click away!

The download contains easy step by step instructions and clear photographs of me making the goddess in the first photograph.(Purple and Blue dress) It also shows you how to make the dress and over skirt. The third pic shows some skirts made to the same design, but in different colours to suit various goddesses or Sabbats)

Things you will need before you start::

wheat (I buy mine on-line from 'Martins dried flowers' or Ebay.
Raffia
Ribbon yarn - ( I mostly use Louisa Harding Sari Yarn- as I think it is very goddess like. But any ribbon or wool will do.
A glue gun & glue sticks.
Scissors
Kebab sticks if using a stand, or a hoop or wreath on which to place your goddess.
you might like to accessorise your goddess with charms and little silk flowers.

You can buy all of the above on-line from Ebay or Etsy. (or from my shop when available)

I am always available to contact should you have any questions.

The above pics show the front cover of the e-booklet and the other photos show examples of goddesses I have made using the technique shown in the instructions. There are many more examples of gods and goddesses that I have made using this technique on my Pinterest boards.
