The Book Of Knowledge 1923 Hardcover, The Children's Encyclopedia, Volume 16

This listing is for one 1923 hardcover copy of The Book of Knowledge Children's Encyclopedia volume 16.
The embossed burgundy cloth cover and spine have wonderful character with rubbing on the corners and edges along with some fading and soiling of the spine, there is also spotting on both the front and back. The book pages have beautiful tanning that gets darker along the edges. The pages also have a soft matte feel and are not glossy like most encyclopedia pages are. The pages are also full of wonderful, detailed illustrations and pictures throughout the book. The cover hinges are tight but the spine is a little loose and there is some separation of the pages from the spine beginning. Overall condition of the book is good for being 101 years old!
