We wish we could make this even easier and have tips choices on our bolo listings all in one tidy place, but the cart limitations don't permit for that much variation in options: stone size and price, exact stone shape picks, cord color, tips choices...)

👉DETAILS:
• One bolo tie
• Mirror-polished Ammonite half averages just under 1.5" at its widest. We use the largest we can find appropriate for the bolo tie size
• Stone color choice: Choose NEW: "Multicolor mix", mid-brown tones, darker brown tones, or honey tones
• The new "Multicolor mix" option is hard to say what a dominant color is - the specimens often have a differing mix of shades of calcite and sediment-filled chambers
• Tension Slide clip on the back for easy adjustment
• Total length with tips: about 38 inches
• Sturdy black, 5mm REAL leather braided cord. Not "vegan"/faux "leather"! It will soften up over time and use.
• Stone origin: Madagascar. Stones hand-picked in person at the Tucson and Quartzsite Gem Shows
• Handmade by us in our Detroit Michigan studio! Please allow for slight variations in color, shape and size of the stones. Each fossil is unique!
• Each is securely attached to the bolo hardware with aircraft grade, jeweler's cement bonding
• The reverse side of the ammonite is coated in resin to act as a "bumper" to prevent damage while wearing or if dropped - and to further secure the hardware
• Handmade in-house using only natural stones.

⛏️ ABOUT THE STONE:
Ammonites were predatory mollusks that resembled a squid with a shell. These cephalopods had eyes, tentacles, and spiral shells. They are more closely related to a living octopus, though the shells resemble that of a nautilus. Ammonites appeared in the fossil record about 240 million years ago.

🐝 ABOUT THE MAKER
Each bolo, cufflink, lapel pin, tie bar, and tie tack is designed and made by hand by printmaker and metalworking artist Bethany Shorb, founder of Cyberoptix. I split my time between Detroit, MI and an RV studio and ranch in Arizona, where I personally hand-select every stone, crystal, shell, and fossil. From the Tucson and Quartzsite gem shows to the workbenches in Detroit, every piece is crafted with care, sourced only from trusted, ethical suppliers.

All our jewelry is handmade with natural stones; they're gifts from the Earth, and all vary between specimen to specimen. Each is unique and one of a kind, and no two will ever be the same, that's a big part of the joy and fun of them! Each is a wild new world inside, imagine the excitement of slicing them open for the first time! 👔 How to Operate
Our stainless squeeze-action slide holds the leather cord securely without damage. Simply press and hold to loosen or tighten — rugged, smooth, and built to last.

🎩HOW TO STYLE? Own the bolo look however you love it most - wear with a button up shirt just like a traditional necktie or wear it looser with a button un-buttoned for a more casual look. Or wear the bolo very loosely around your neck and layer with an oversized t-shirt or tank!
