Materials

Sleeping Beauty turquoise, sterling silver, vintage crystals, stabilized Kingman Mine turquoise

Dimensions

Necklace length: 18 Inches; Pendant height: 4.5 Inches

I created this 18 inch (45.7 cm) shooting star pendant from a small slice of natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise cut with a star silhouette. Super saturated natural blue colors are the hallmark of the Sleeping Beauty Mine turquoise of Globe, Arizona. I paired this lovely falling star with natural handcut TINY tiny turquoise bicone beads to creates a fluid comet tail that moves with you. Each trailing strand ends at an amethyst purple glass orb that catches the light. The comet tail measures 4.5 inches long (11.5 cm).

This shooting star necklace hangs from an 18 inch sterling silver chain (45.7 cm) with hook and eye clasp, natural stabilized Kingman Mine turquoise nuggets and gorgeous vintage blue crystal accents.

One of a kind.

I only use natural, undyed turquoise from reputable sources. You will not find dyed howlite, magnesite, or "African turquoise" jasper misrepresented as turquoise in my shop. I also do not use color treated turquoise or reconstituted/chalk turquoise in my designs.

Please note, the wooden model wearing this falling star pendant is smaller than life size. I tried to adjust the star neckace to lay as it would on a real person.
