THE STORY

Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me 121 times, shame on me.

In the immortal words of Hawk Harrelson: "HISTORY!" (though he was referring to a Perfect Game and not the worst team in the history of baseball). The record for most season losses, previously held by the 1962 New York Mets, now belongs to our beloved South Siders. We thought we'd commemorate (commiserate?) the occasion with a nod to the 1983 team who was also ugly...but in a winning fashion.
