"The bicycle has done more for the emancipation of women than anything else in the world." H.G. Wells.

This image is influenced by the strong lithographic style prints of Aubrey Beardsley and also the romantic style of the Pre Raphaelites.

I sketched the image on iPad from an old bike poster, printed the image and then I transferred the image onto lino and then cut away the areas that you see are white.

I have used black oil based ink printed onto high quality, acid free 185gsm Canson's watercolour paper. The paper is subtley textured which adds to the beauty of the finished print. The paper has a deckled edge.

The printed area is 20.5cm x 13cm (roughly 8" x 5") the paper size is 28.5cm x 22cm (roughly 11" x 8.5")

This is an edition of 50. Each print is signed on the front, titled and numbered. It is dated on the back. You will not necessarily get the number shown.

The print is sold without frame or mount. Sale does not convey copyright.
