Yes, the price of this listing DOES include a sterling chain so it is ready to wear straight out of the box. Please mention what length chain you would like (up to 24 inches) during check out. If no length preference is mentioned I will include a 16 inch chain.

If you already have one of my chains, or a chain that will fit a 5mm bail, then feel free to decline the chain offered here and I will promptly refund $10 back to you off the price of this listing! Just mention "no chain please" in the Notes To Seller box during check out and I will send you just the pendant and I'll keep the chain.

Frequently asked questions about kerrihale

Please be sure to review the measurements provided to determine the size prior to purchase. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Shopping online can be hard when assumptions don't match the actual item; to prevent incorrect assumptions, measurements are provided in each listing description. Photos with the mannequin show the *drape* of the piece, not the fit (because we're all different sizes) and although the photos with my hand do somewhat convey scale, unless we have the exact same size hands it's best to review the measurements themselves :)
Delivery time is two steps: First step is the 'Processing' time which is under my control and is usually 2-5 business days. Second step is the 'Transit' time which is not under my control. You control Transit time based on the shipping method you select, and the post office controls Transit time based on their operations. Additionally your country's customs department, if you're outside the US. The post office does indeed provide "estimated shipping times" which are an average delivery standard; not a guarantee.
Goldfill is a base metal (usually brass or copper) covered by sheets of solid gold. In other words everything on the outside is solid gold - in much thicker layers than gold vermeil or gold plated metals. Goldfill is much higher quality than gold vermeil or gold plated metals; it's the next best thing to solid gold and much more affordable.
With proper care and consideration handmade jewelry will last for years to come. Natural stones in handmade jewelry are not typically treated or sealed like the stones in mass produced jewelry often are. Untreated stones may be sensitive to their environment, especially porous stones such as Opal, Pearl or Turquoise. This is the normal expectation for natural stones, it's not a defect of the stones or the jewelry. To keep stones looking their best it is strongly recommended to avoid exposure to things such as: chemicals, hairspray, perfume, lotion, chlorine, sweat, oil, saltwater, soap, etc. Exposure to such elements may cause damage. Again this is not a defect, this is the normal expectation for natural untreated stones.

Fees such as import duties, taxes, VAT, GST, etc, are not included in the price or shipping you pay in my shop. These fees are between you and your country's government; I have no knowledge of, nor control over these fees. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I also have no control or responsibility for delays due to customs. Customs declarations fees reflect the real cost and description; falsifying customs forms is a crime.

It is my goal to make beautiful jewelry you can enjoy for years to come. Defects in workmanship will be apparent within two weeks of ownership (more like within one day, the first time you wear it, but definitely within two weeks). For damage incurred during normal wear during the first two weeks of ownership please contact me to discuss repair or replacement - be sure to save all components including metal and all stones. For damage incurred after two weeks of ownership you may contact me to discuss the cost for a repair including materials and shipping.
