I made this Ruger SP101, Taurus 605 up to 3" Barrel Length Cross Draw holster from 7 to 9 oz. Vegetable tanned leather. The holster is hand dyed (dark brown) and finished with a coat of liquid mink oil. Shade of color may vary depending on tanning and dye lots. The thumb break is basically a heavy-duty snap and leather, which I have found more desirable than the steel type. I glued a small piece of leather over the back of the snap to protect the firearm finish. The holster will fit on up to a 1.5" belt and the belt loop is 2" wide.

Hammerless Revolvers WILL NOT FIT AS TIGHT.
Please allow a break in period, especially with the belt loop. If you purchase this holster for a revolver other than the Ruger SP101, Taurus 605 you may have to take extra care to form this holster to your specific Revolver. One method I've used to reform a holster is as follows. Wrap the unloaded firearm in plastic food wrap. Dampen the area, areas of the back side of the leather to be stretched using plain tap water. Force your wrapped firearm in with a slight rocking motion into the holster to the desired position. Snap your firearm in place and let dry for 48 hours.
Does Not work with Revolvers with a laser.

I am mobility impaired. On short excursions I walk slowly, but on longer excursions I'm in a motorized chair. This cross draw holster is comfortable and totally and instantly accessible while walking or wheeling. The price, quality, were fantastic.
