This patchwork stocking will bring added character to any home at Christmas time. It is designed to make them an item to treasure for many years to come. It makes the perfect quick Christmas sewing project, and would make a wonderful gift.
The pattern has instructions for one-sided and two-sided patchwork, as well as plain and directional printed fabric. The stockings give instructions to add wadding to give it structure, fully quilt them, and to make them fully lined for a professional finish. The stockings have a hanging loop at the top.
Final measurements for the stockings are approximately 60cm from the top of the hanging loop to the bottom of the toe (when hung up) and the top opening is 19cm. Further measurements are given within the pattern.

Please note: a UK fat quarter (50cm x 56cm) is enough fabric for the lining. The pattern states a 1/2 yard is needed as a US fat quarter is smaller than a UK fat quarter.

The only Christmas stocking pattern you need!! A modern take on a classic that will for sure be an heirloom for years to come. These are not a hard make, but also not super fast (for someone like me who doesn’t do much quilting that is), but the outcome is worth every single second. Meg is also so kind and prompt to respond to any questions. Highly highly recommend!
