Our Vintage Classic Garden Trellis / Arbor plans are a throwback to the craftsmanship and elegance of the Old World. Build yourself a perfect place for a walkway - a garden spot - or to
grow grape vines, wisteria, clematis or a climbing rose. This will make a statement in your garden or landscape. Designed wide enough to easily fit over sidewalks – a clear 48” between posts.

These are complete garden arbor plans and easy to follow.
We include over 15 photographs to show the detail and building process along with step by step instructions to build and erect. No nails needed - assembled easily with screws and designed to be rugged and last a lifetime. You can use the plans to build almost any size.

All materials can be easily sourced and purchased at your local home improvement or lumber store - and you can save hundreds building it yourself! With average wood working skills you can have it built and up in a day. The pergola shown was just $75 in materials and is so much stronger and more elegant than ones kits that cost $300 to $400! All you need is a jigsaw, drill, measuring tape, bolts and screws.

Our design is made to handle the outdoors. Using strong 4 x 4 posts and heavy duty front and back beams. . Strong cross beam rafters are then notched on each side to slip down over main beams. A top grid of stringers then give depth and strength to the pergola.

Strong enough to handle old windows hung between – lattice on the sides or install a bench on the back posts. Includes strong 4 x 4” posts, 2 x 8” curved and corner cut header boards, and 2 x 6 “ notched purlins.
