Shipping/Production Time

PRODUCTION TIME is currently 1-2 weeks although it can be sooner depending on the number of orders that are ahead of yours. Currently, most items listed are hand-made to order, which means things move a little slower than other shops that use mass production as a means of making their items. I ship using USPS. DOMESTIC SHIPPING: Once shipped, GROUND ADVANTAGE (standard shipping) normally arrives in 4-9 days. Once shipped, PRIORITY MAIL normally arrives in 3-4 days, depending on where in the US you are located. Shipping upgrades are available to you during checkout! If you have a tight deadline, please select the most appropriate shipping method.

Returns and Exchanges

To return an item, please contact me within 2 weeks of receiving your order and send the items back within 30 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. The product must be completely unused and unwashed, properly folded with the original tags attached, and with the hygienic liners intact. Please make sure to wear appropriate under garments when trying on the merchandise. Any products that are soiled, worn, damaged, or are not returned with the instructions above will not be taken back. In the event that the item has been worn, the item will be returned back to you. Any micro bottoms and/or custom orders are final sale & not eligible to be returned or exchanged.

To get the most wear out of your bikini, gently wash by hand with cold water and mild soap. Lay flat to dry. No bleach, no iron. Avoid friction with abrasive surfaces. Do not put your bikinis in the washing machine or dryer, as this will shorten the life of your bikini. I do NOT provide refunds or replacements in the case that you improperly wash your bikini. BIKINIS WITH METALLIC OR HOLOGRAPHIC FINISHES A part of what makes metallic bikinis so striking is also why they tend to be more delicate than regular swimwear fabric. To get the most longevity out of any metallic bikini, avoid salt water, chlorinated water, and friction with anything abrasive. While they are perfect for strutting your stuff, they are not recommended for swimming!

Oh no, my order was sent to the wrong address! What now?

It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure that the address on file with Etsy is correct. Any shipping labels that I receive are pre-filled with information that you, the buyer, provides Etsy. As you place your order, there should be a billing address and a shipping address section that you come across before you can do anything else. If you have a new address, please make sure to update it as soon as you can. I DO NOT provide refunds or replacements in the case that an order has been shipped to the wrong address. If you see that your address is not correct, do not hesitate to contact me as soon as possible.

The tracking info shows my order was delivered, but it's not here. Can I get a refund?

I DO NOT provide refunds for orders that were marked 'delivered' by the shipping carrier. If this happens, you need to contact YOUR local post office. In most cases, they can tell you if it was mis-delivered or sent to the wrong address. I also advise checking with your neighbors to see if they mistakenly got a hold of it. If you believe that your package was stolen, I highly advise filing a police report.

Why do your items show up as 'in stock' if they are not pre-made?

This just refers to how many items I can make based on the amount of material/fabric I have. Most of my items are still handmade to order unless indicated otherwise.

Do you make any other items besides what's already listed?

Yes! I make ravewear as well as micro bikinis, although they are not listed in this shop. You can find some of those items in my sister shop: www.etsy.com/shop/TheMoonLightDancer

Tracking shows my order is in transit, but it won't arrive before I leave for my trip. Can I have a refund?

No. I do not provide refunds for orders that have not yet arrived if tracking appears to be regularly moving. If you have an event or trip that you want to bring your bikini to, you need to place the order well enough in advance just in case if shipping delays occur. Keep in mind, production time is normally 1-2 weeks (before shipping). Once your order is dropped off at the post office, the route it takes and how long that takes is out of my hands. Shipping delays aren't all too frequent, but they do happen.
