Sugar Bunnies Baby Rag Quilt
Description
Spring has arrived and the bunny twins are out exploring. They discover spring flowers blooming in gardens and a leftover Easter egg that was still well hidden in the blooms.
The bunny quilt has no piecing. Like a painting, it started with a plain white canvas of fabric and details were added to make the complete picture. As the bunnies and flowers were sewn the quilting was done making a pretty quilted pattern of flowers and bunnies on the back.
The appliques are sewn with raw edges. These are designed to fray to the sewn edges and give a cozy, folk feel to the quilt. There are no time consuming satin stitches or messy glue paper. The outer edges of the quilt has a ruffled rag finish.
The batting is 100% cotton, the backing a soft pink flannel.
This rag baby quilt measures 34 x 44 inches.
It is ready to ship.
The baby blanket is machine wash, air or tumble dry low.
