This light tan fiber, referred to as "Light Fawn" color for alpacas is super soft! A great, high quality fleece from Carmella that has a 3" fiber length. It is straight off of the alpaca, so length will vary as any natural coat does over the body and can include guard hairs. It will have some vegetable matter that should come out as you work it. Carmella produces a micron of 21, an unusually fine count for the light fawn class. Raw fiber ready for your special project - perfect for carding or combing, spinning, and many other projects. This listing is for 1 lb (16 ounces).
