Quilted canyon walls filled with stenciled petroglyphs speak of lives past. A detailed thread-painted Gambel quail rests on hand-painted vessels inspired by the skill of Acoma and Hohokam pottery makers thousands of years ago.

The story behind this work of art hints at the historical significance of the extensive trade routes used by ancient artisans of Puebloan cultures across the Colorado plateau.
Hours of hand embroidery add textural dimension to the blooming prickly pear cactus and the encroaching grasses, embellish my most recent original design.

"Best in Show!" This is an amazing quilt in every way. Up close, I see Barb's wonderful fabric choices and painstaking effort. Across the room, the quilt looks like a magnificent view out of a cabin window -- so realistic. I have collected about three dozen quilts over the years, but the quality and splendor of Denali is almost more than words can describe. Again, it's amazing. Communication with the seller/artist was nearly instantaneous. Barb described her technique and even sent me photos of the quilt's design and "construction." If I could give Barb 100 stars, I would. SHE is amazing, too. Thank you.

I fell in love with this item the moment I saw it on Etsy, and when I saw it on arrival it far exceeded my expectations. Since I live in a California earthquake area, I wanted something above my bed that was lightweight. The colors and the size were perfect. I love the way the Aspens dominate the piece, the way the leaves pop and look like they are "quaking", and the depth of field the piece captures so that it feels like I'm looking deep into the forest. Barb is a gifted artist who clearly loves nature. Thanks so much.

We have three of your pieces in our dining room now. They really give the sparse room character. Thanks so much.
