Learn to make this fun crochet and crafting poinsettia Christmas project! You need access to youtube to work this pattern properly. the video tutorial works in tandem with the written pattern.
Pattern and video help you create:
-Three different sized poinsettia petals
-How to put them together to create a poinsettia to display in a shallow dish or flower box/ part of a holiday wreath
Finished bloom is approximately 11" using category 1 sport yarn or 12-13" using category 2 yarn.
Plan on a 6-7" box or dish or a 14" wreath frame to display your bloom.
Written petal pattern is a simple chart for experienced beginners to follow in an easy check off chart for each round so you can work quickly to get them done in time for Christmas decorating.
Supplies to make this project:
350-400 yards sport yarn (shown is Hobbi Friends 8/4 cotton)
3.25 crochet hook
tapestry needle for finished petals
16 gauge floral wire
2" styrofoam ball for center
beads and adhesive for top half of ball
flower box, dish or 14" wreath frame
wide ribbon for decoration
